So, we've been swimming for almost two years!
I use the pool primarily to do
water aerobics - some deep water, some standing, sometimes against the
current. Now I get grumpy if I can't do my exercises every other day or
so. I started with a Speedo system (flotation belt and video) I purchased
at Costco. Since then I've purchased quite a few tapes - so I can vary my
exercise routines. My favorites are by Karen Westfall - she
has several videos that use noodles to assist with flotation and provide
resistance. She even has a Tae-Bo version. (see

Water Gym workout (Video,
CD, and instruction sheet for poolside). Some of the exercises I do
against the current (set very low!).
