Closed in the under eave areas on the sunroom. Need to call to get the
custom sized windows for this area made and shipped (part of the sunroom
kit).
The sunroom space is very pleasant. Even early this spring, we had a
few very toasty days! We put the sun shades over the roof panels this
weekend and now it is very pleasant.
From the outside - the sunroom is big (36 x 14), but very usable space.
The pump shed is to the left.
Even with the pool, there is lots of room for plants, other exercise
equipment, and multimedia equipment.
And there is still some backyard left. Actually planted a few thing this
weekend in the raised beds.
Looking good! More wainscoting on order - should arrive this week.
Used a couple hatch lifters that are normally used on hatchback cars
to help lift the lid. Now it is a one-handed lift rather than a two person
lift.
All the mechanicals are working and leak free. Left room in the shed for
the sunroom "winter blankets", which I doubt we will ever need in
sunny California.
The electrical connections are made and the pump has oil. The water is
balanced, sanitized (I knew that degree in Chemistry would come in handy
some day), and heated to a nice 82 degrees.
The "Front" of the pool with the cover in place.
The hydrotherapy jets in action. Very soothing.
The current is running. We had to turn the maximum current down at the
pump - it was a bit strong for someone who hasn't been swimming regularly
for 20 years.
Another action shot.
The business end - the swim mirror (to keep an eye on form) and the deep
end of the pool are clearly visible.
