Site Preparation - Removing the concrete the hard way

Concrete removal, the hard way. One day early in September 2000, we rented a 80lb air powered jackhammer and started breaking up concrete. Little did we know that much of the concrete was over 6 inches thick with embedded mesh. After wearing out Chip and filling up the 10 cu yd bin (one wheelbarrow at a time) we quit for the day. The neighbors were very happy!
