About Us
R&W Consulting has been in business since 1995. The name is from Ruth & Warren McDunn. Truth is I had to come up with a business name while standing at the license counter. Warren now has his own business, Can Do Handyman, but he still helps out so the name hasn't changed.
R&W Consulting is a side business - where I can do more fun things with the web. I was the Web Information Manager at the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory (formerly Stanford Linear Accelerator Center) for 10 years. I then moved into as position as an Assurance Professional in the Office of Assurance and I'm currently the Database Manager in the Project Management Office. I still work on the web everyday, especially using SharePoint on our internal sites, but no longer manage the 500K plus pages in the SLAC web.
We live in San Jose, California, with our three cats - Sharmila, Killishandra, and Kazi (short for Kamikazi).
